  Chongqing-Our City Chongqing is a metropolis in the west China with rich historical and cultural heritage, and is famous as the “Mountain City,” or “Bridges Capital”. It is one of the four central municipalities in China with the largest area and the biggest population. It is also an important manufacturing base and inland export processing base of China, as well as the main transportation hub in the southwestern part of the country.
